  5. This program is Shareware, you may evaluate if for a period of no more than 30
  6. days. After this time you must either register (read Registering in README.TXT
  7. and REGISTER.TXT) or remove it from your system. Failure to comply with this
  8. condition is a violation of United States and international copyright law.
  9. This program is fully functional, however you will recieve a later version
  10. upon registering. Please register if you use this program for more than the
  11. trial period. The registered version is at least v.1.31, see HISTORY.TXT for
  12. what's new in each.

  15. WHAT IS VB AHA!!!
  16. -----------------
  17.   VB AHA!!! is an inexpensive and easy to use utility for writing Windows help
  18. files. You won't need any expensive wordprocessors or have to use any cryptic
  19. commands. With simple mouse clicks and Drag n Drop ease you will be able to
  20. construct your help files quickly.

  22.   If you use Visual Basic then VB AHA!!! will handle all of the HelpContextID
  23. values for you and even recompile your programs with the new values. No more
  24. hassles of having to insert the values by hand! If you program in C/C++ or
  25. Pascal then VB AHA!!! will create a header file containing all of the
  26. definitions that you will need for context sensitive help in your programs.

  28. REQUIREMENTS
  29. ------------
  30.  Microsoft Windows 3.1
  31.  HC.EXE - the Microsoft Help Compiler (this and SHED.EXE, the segmented hyper-
  32.           graphics editor, will be sent to you free of charge when you register).
  33.           Please note that these two programs are Microsoft's and that I am not
  34.           selling them. If you have internet access then you can ftp these from
  35.           ftp.cica.indiana.edu as what.zip. I believe that they are also on
  36.           Microsoft's Developer Network CD's and CompuServe.

  38. INSTALLATION
  39. ------------
  40.   In the interest of saving you download time I have not included an install
  41. program. Just place all of the files, except the following 2, in the same
  42. directory. You will need the Visual Basic runtime library VBRUN300.DLL and
  43. CMDIALOG.VBX in your windows\system directory. VBRUN300.DLL can be found on
  44. almost any BBS that carries windows programs, just search for VBRUN or ask
  45. the SYSOP. I can no longer include vbaha.aha, the project I used to make the
  46. online help for VB AHA!!!, in the shareware version as it uses features that
  47. are only in the registered version. It is included in the registered version
  48. though. Instead I'm including example.aha as an example of some of what can
  49. be done with VB AHA!!!.
